Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Cable Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will build, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies per engineering drawings and work instructions, collaborating with design and manufacturing engineers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED with 2–4 years cable building and/or electrical/mechanical assembly experience.
Working knowledge of specialized tools and equipment used during cable assembly process.
Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Final Secret Clearance OR eligible to obtain Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Build, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies.
Work with tools used for cable manufacturing (strippers, crimpers, solder iron).
Interpret engineer drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to anticipate and solve assembly issues.
Perform basic troubleshooting to identify faults in signal and connectivity.
