Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist in Martinsburg, WV to welcome customers, assess project needs, and help them select products to achieve home improvement goals.

You will become a product expert, explaining specs, promotions, and financing options while delivering outstanding service to close sales. You’ll work in one of several departments based on needs and your skills. This role supports a fast-paced store setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service in a sales environment with goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation.
• Lowe's licensure/registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department and handle orders.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing and documentation.
• Support checkout functions and requests for assistance.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
