Job summary

Adams Group - US is seeking an Engineer to translate architectural drawings into production-ready documentation for custom cabinetry and millwork. The role ensures design intent is accurately interpreted and manufacturable, while optimizing material use.

You will generate detailed production packages, BOMs, and CNC-ready files, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support submittals and project tracking using Innergy or similar software.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in commercial millwork or casework engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and cabinet fabrication knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Translate architectural drawings and customer specs into detailed engineering drawings and production packages.
• Generate cut lists, BOMs, and CNC-ready files for production.
• Ensure constructability of designs with drafting and production teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and shop leads to resolve engineering challenges.
• Use Innergy or similar software for layouts, data input, and job tracking.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and cost efficiency.
• Maintain documentation and version control for engineering deliverables.
