Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in commercial millwork or casework.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other drafting software.
• Knowledge of cabinet construction methods, materials, and architectural detailing.
• Strong understanding of AWI and ADA standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and customer specs to develop detailed engineering drawings and production packages.
• Generate cut lists, BOMs, and CNC-ready files for production.
• Ensure constructability in coordination with drafting and production teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and shop leads to resolve design challenges.
• Use Innergy or similar software for layouts, data input, and job tracking.
• Contribute to continuous manufacturing process improvements and cost efficiency.
• Maintain documentation and version control for engineering deliverables.
