Mint Hill Cabinets Inc. in the greater Charlotte area is seeking a Sanding & Prep Technician to prepare cabinetry for premium finishes. You will sand cabinet parts, panels, doors, and edges to finish-ready standards, using orbital sanders and hand tools, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Sanding & Prep Technician

Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and take pride in producing quality work? We welcome you to join our team as a Sanding & Prep Technician. You’ll play an important role in preparing custom cabinetry for the high-quality painted and stained finishes that go into luxury homes and commercial projects throughout the greater Charlotte area.

What You’ll Do

• Sand cabinet parts, panels, doors, edges, and profiles to finish-ready standards
• Follow established sanding methods and grit sequences for different materials and finishes
• Remove glue, mill marks, handling damage, and other surface defects
• Protect edges, profiles, and veneers from rounding or sand-through
• Inspect your work and correct sanding defects before parts move to finishing
• Properly protect, stack, and stage completed parts
• Maintain steady production while meeting MHC quality standards

Schedule

• Mon to Thr 6:30am – 4:30 pm
• Fri 6:30am – 12:00 pm
• Flexibility to work some overtime as needed
