Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Cabinet & Millwork Estimator to accurately estimate cabinetry, architectural millwork, countertops, casework, and related products. The role requires interpreting drawings, specs, takeoffs and project requirements to develop competitive estimates.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, preparing detailed estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, pricing with vendors, and collaborating with sales, project management, purchasing, and production to ensure

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software.

Job description

Currently seeking an experienced Cabinet & Millwork Estimator to accurately estimate projects involving cabinetry, architectural millwork, countertops, casework, and related products.

This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, takeoffs, and project requirements while developing accurate and competitive estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and project documents
  • Prepare detailed material and labor estimates
  • Perform quantity takeoffs for cabinetry, millwork, countertops, and related products
  • Analyze project specifications and identify potential issues or discrepancies
  • Prepare accurate pricing and proposals
  • Obtain pricing from vendors and suppliers when necessary
  • Work closely with sales, project management, purchasing, production, and customers
  • Track project changes and update estimates as needed
  • Assist with bid preparation and submission
  • Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software
Preferred Experience

Experience with commercial casework, architectural millwork, custom cabinetry, countertops, or construction estimating is highly desirable.
