Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Cabin Design Engineer to support development, customization, and evolution of aircraft cabin interiors and cargo payloads for airline customers.

You will autonomously perform routine to advanced engineering design, analysis, and data integration from concept to final installation. Key duties include technical oversight of cabin and cargo suppliers, ensuring design data can be certified with required test data, and solving complex engineering problems with

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace) with strong design background.
• Nine+ years in design, analysis and systems/structural integration of cabin interiors or related areas.
• Experience reviewing supplier technical documentation and ensuring regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to advanced design, analysis and data integration from concept to installation.
• Provide technical oversight of cabin and cargo suppliers to ensure integrated engineering solutions.
• Develop solutions for complex engineering problems requiring judgement and ingenuity.
• Review and secure supplier documentation for technical accuracy and airworthiness.
