Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring a Tactical Network Engineer with cybersecurity experience to lead the design and implementation of networking for Command and Control and distributed unmanned systems. You will integrate new hardware and software, define success in ambiguity, and own end-to-end system networking across multiple domains.

The role emphasizes experience with cloud platforms, secure communications, and mesh networking, with travel up to 25% and an active US Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with industry standard cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Enterprise network technologies, CI/CD tools, and software infrastructure fundamentals (networking, security, distributed systems).
• Expertise in tactical LOS and BLOS RF systems; ad-hoc mesh networking; secure communication protocols (IPSec/MACSec); software-defined networking; TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to travel up to 25%; active U.S. Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of networking stack for Command and Control (C2) and collaborative autonomy of distributed unmanned systems.
• Lead networking requirements decomposition across cross-functional teams, defining success amid ambiguity.
• Design network laydowns and configurations for large-scale unmanned systems and forward-deployed C2 systems.
• Build tooling for benchmarking and analyzing network traffic; improve edge network reliability and throughput.
• Collaborate with software engineers to model and simulate hardware-in-the-loop lab infrastructure.
