Job summary

Anduril Industries in Seattle, WA is hiring a Tactical Network Engineer with cybersecurity experience to lead the design and deployment of a networking stack enabling Command and Control of distributed unmanned systems.

You will collaborate with software and hardware teams to implement Layer-1 through Layer-4 networking, perform trade studies, optimize performance, and build tooling for benchmarking and analysis.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in applying engineering standards to processes or requirements.
• 7+ years of experience with cloud platforms, enterprise networks, CI/CD, and software infrastructure.
• Experience with tactical LOS/BLOS RF systems and secure comms protocols.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and deliver under ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for test field events and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of new networking capabilities for unmanned systems.
• Decompose networking requirements across cross-functional teams.
• Design network laydowns and configurations for large-scale missions.
• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot layered networking across OSI layers 1–4.
• Own end-to-end system networking issues and drive improvements.
• Conduct trade-off studies of comms and networking solutions.
• Build tooling to benchmark and analyze network traffic.
• Collaborate with software engineers to model and simulate environments.
