Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring a Tactical Network Engineer with cybersecurity experience to lead the design and implementation of a networking stack enabling Command and Control and collaborative autonomy of distributed unmanned systems. You will integrate new networking capabilities, decompose requirements across teams, and design robust network configurations for large-scale unmanned operations with a focus on security and performance.

This role requires travel up to 25% and an active U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and enterprise networks.
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance.
• Experience with IPSec/MACSec, SDN, TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols.
• Willing to travel up to 25% for test field events.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a networking stack for C2 and collaborative autonomy of unmanned systems.
• Lead networking requirements decomposition across cross-functional teams.
• Design network laydowns and configurations for large-scale unmanned systems and forward-deployed C2.
• Design, implement, deploy, and troubleshoot system networking solutions across OSI layers 1-4 meeting security goals.
• Own systems end to end; identify and solve networking problems across seams; analyze performance and tradeoffs.
• Perform trade-off studies of comms and networking options including government technologies.
• Build tooling for benchmarking and analyzing network traffic.
• Analyze test network infrastructure; propose improvements for reliability and throughput at the edge.
• Collaborate with software engineers to build a modeling/simulation environment with hardware-in-loop.
