Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Tactical Network Engineer with cybersecurity experience to lead the design and implementation of a networking stack enabling Command and Control (C2) and collaborative autonomy for distributed unmanned systems in Seattle, WA.

The role requires leadership in integrating new hardware and software, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering secure networking solutions. The candidate should have 7+ years in cloud and networking, hold an active U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), enterprise network technologies, CI/CD tools, and software infrastructure fundamentals.
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance is required.
• Experience with ad-hoc mesh networking and secure communication protocols.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for test field events.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of networking stack for C2 and collaborative autonomy of distributed unmanned systems.
• Integrate emerging networking capabilities across cross-functional teams.
• Decompose networking requirements and define success metrics amid ambiguity.
• Design network laydowns, configurations, and ensure security goals across OSI layers.
• Own end-to-end system networking, diagnose cross-seam issues, and deliver outcomes.
• Perform trade-off studies of communications and networking solutions.
• Develop tooling for benchmarking and analyzing network traffic.
• Improve network reliability and throughput for edge networks.
• Collaborate with software engineers to build modeling/simulation environments.
