Job summary

RecruitMyMom is seeking an experienced executive recruitment contractor to drive candidate intelligence in the UK financial services sector, focusing on C-suite mapping, targeted sourcing, and regulatory alignment.

You will lead headhunting across banks, asset management, wealth tech, and fintech, validate regulatory standing against the FCA Register, and ensure candidate assessments meet SM&CR standards while maintaining a robust pipeline for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in talent resourcing or executive recruitment focused on UK Financial Services.
• Working knowledge of FCA and PRA regulatory bodies, Consumer Duty requirements, and SM&CR framework.
• Proven understanding of UK professional certifications across Asset Management, Wealth Management, Banking, Risk and Compliance (CII/PFS, CISI, CFA, ICA).
• Executive engagement and ability to assess senior executives and C-suite candidates.

Responsibilities

• Map markets and leadership talent across UK banks, wealth management, asset management and fintech firms.
• Lead targeted headhunting campaigns using LinkedIn Recruiter and UK financial databases.
• Verify regulatory standing with the FCA Register and assess candidates under SM&CR (e.g., SMF roles).
• Screen for Fit and Proper, remuneration expectations, and reasons for leaving; maintain candidate pipelines and executive shortlists.
