Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience evaluating, assessing, and supporting current and emerging sensor technologies.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with C-sUAS detection and mitigation systems.
• Proven ability to analyze complex technical data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of C-UAS sensor systems to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Analyze system data and metrics to identify trends and improve detection capabilities.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and government to cyber harden systems.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and government to integrate sensor systems in C2 and OCIO views.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and government to field new technology and modernize systems.
• Assess sensor performance and develop recommendations to reduce false alarms while improving detection.
• Maintain and manage system performance databases and analytical records.
• Prepare and present technical reports, findings, and recommendations to government stakeholders.
• Support technology assessments of current and emerging sensor capabilities.
• Coordinate with government, engineering, and operational teams to address issues and implement improvements.
• Other duties as assigned
