Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Inventory Manager / Government Property Specialist to manage GFP for the Counter-UAS Engineering & Integration program. You will maintain property records, conduct inventories, and ensure 98%+ accuracy for unclassified items and 100% for classified items, with hands-on support at test ranges.

The role requires coordination with management, engineering, security, and government stakeholders, and uses PIEE and enterprise systems to track property lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BA degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with less than 2 years’ experience.
• Experience managing Government property, GFP, or in a controlled environment.
• Maintaining accurate property and inventory records across the asset lifecycle (receipt, custody, transfer, disposition).
• Ability to conduct physical inventories, reconcile records, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Experience maintaining GFP records and preparing inventory or property status reports.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy and ensure traceability of assets.
• Coordinate movements of equipment and material between facilities, labs, test locations, or gov’t entities.
• Proficiency with Excel and enterprise systems.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GFP inventory control and accountability for equipment, tools, materials, and prototype hardware.
• Record GFP information within PIEE and maintain property records per contract and DoD requirements.
• Maintain 98% inventory accuracy for unclassified items and 100% for classified items; perform inventories and reconciliations.
• Develop and coordinate Government Property Inventory Report; ensure complete, accurate, and traceable records.
• Manage property lifecycle: receipt, inspection, tagging, storage, custody, issue, transfer, movement, and disposition with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with Configuration Management and Engineering to track SIL hardware and related property across development, test, and data-reduction activities.
• Provide hands-on inventory support at test ranges and program locations, including receipt, staging, movement, storage, reconciliation, and preparation for integration and test.
• Support hands-on property activities at the SIL and test range as needed; ensure equipment is available for development and test.
