Job summary

Check Defense, LLC is seeking a Property / Logistics Manager to oversee all logistics, supply chain, inventory management, GFP, CAP, aircraft components, repair parts, and maintenance support for a U.S. Army UAS contract.

You will lead logistics personnel and coordinate with maintenance, IT, quality control, and government stakeholders to ensure readiness and regulatory compliance. This role serves as the principal logistics authority for the contract, focusing on asset accountability,

Qualifications

• US citizen with an Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 7 years in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or property accountability.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory/management experience in logistics or property operations.
• Experience managing Government property, inventory control, warehousing, and supply support.
• Experience supporting military/aviation/government service contracts.
• Strong understanding of inventory principles, asset accountability, and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage all logistics and supply chain operations supporting contract requirements.
• Develop and implement logistics management processes for maintenance, training, operations, and admin activities.
• Ensure continuous availability of repair parts, consumables, support equipment, and resources.
• Coordinate logistics support with Government representatives, PM, and managers.
• Develop logistics performance metrics and monitor supply programs.
• Ensure compliance with contract, Army regulations, and company policies.
• Serve as Government Property Manager for GFP, GFE, and CAP.
• Maintain accountability and visibility of contract property assets.
• Conduct inventories, reconciliations, audits, and inspections.
• Ensure accurate property records in approved systems.
• Investigate discrepancies, losses, damages, and destruction incidents.
• Coordinate annual inventories and Government property inspections.
• Manage inventory controls for components, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Monitor stock levels and forecast material requirements based on schedules.
• Coordinate procurement to ensure timely acquisitions.
• Establish inventory controls to minimize shortages and excess.
• Ensure proper receiving, storage, and issuance of items.
• Oversee warehouse operations, storage facilities, and material handling.
• Ensure materials are stored securely and protected from damage.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and Government property regulations.
