Job Overview:

The C-Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees and assistant managers. They are also responsible for store profits, controlling expenses such as labor, inventory, and cash shortages.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in recruiting, hiring, and training team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Motivating, encouraging, and challenging store team members.
• Resolving customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Implementing and enforcing daily operating procedures to keep the store clean, stocked, organized, and well-maintained.
• Ensuring merchandise is properly stocked, attractive, correctly priced, and displayed safely.
• Supervising and disciplining employees according to company policy.
• Monitoring competitor gasoline prices and reporting to the corporate office.
• Completing daily paperwork and data entry efficiently.
• Monitoring cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs daily.
• Conducting monthly store meetings with employees.
• Performing all duties of a store team member as needed.
• Understanding daily store operation reports.
• Following and enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Implementing monthly promotions and ensuring POS signage is correctly posted.
• Reporting pricing issues to the Price Book Administrator.
• Enforcing merchandising and vendor policies.
• Ensuring safety and security measures are followed and unsafe conditions are reported.
• Reporting and managing employee and customer incidents following company procedures.
