Job Overview:

The C-Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees and assistant managers.

The C-Store Manager oversees store profits and all controllable expenses, including labor, inventory, and cash shortages.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Motivate and encourage store team members.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Implement and enforce daily operating procedures to keep the store clean, stocked, organized, and well-maintained.
• Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, displayed attractively, priced correctly, and safely.
• Supervise and discipline employees according to company policy.
• Monitor competitor gasoline prices and report to the corporate office.
• Complete daily paperwork and data entry as required.
• Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs daily.
• Conduct monthly store meetings with employees.
• Perform all duties of a store team member physically.
• Understand daily store operation reports.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Implement monthly promotions and ensure POS signage is posted correctly.
• Report pricing issues to the Price Book Administrator.
• Enforce merchandising and vendor policies.
• Address safety and security issues, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Handle employee and customer incidents or accidents per company procedures.
