Job Overview:

The C-Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees and assistant managers. The role also oversees store profits and controllable expenses such as labor, inventory, and cash shortages.

Responsibilities include:

• Recruiting, hiring, and training team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Motivating and encouraging staff.
• Handling customer complaints professionally.
• Maintaining store cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking.
• Ensuring attractive and safe merchandise displays.
• Supervising staff discipline and adherence to company policies.
• Monitoring competitor gasoline prices and reporting them timely.
• Completing daily paperwork and computer entries.
• Managing cash over/short, shrinkage, and drive-offs.
• Conducting regular store meetings.
• Performing all duties of a store team member physically.
• Understanding daily store operation reports.
• Enforcing company policies and safety procedures.
• Implementing promotions and POS signage.
• Communicating pricing issues to the Price Book Administrator.
• Enforcing merchandising and vendor policies.
• Reporting safety issues and incidents.
