Job summary

gfsapplegreen is seeking a Cashier Associate (FT or PT) for the AG Convenience Stores - Northeast location. You will process customers at the register, promote sales, and help maintain store cleanliness and organization to support customer satisfaction and growth.

We value candidates who are at least 18, with a high school diploma or GED preferred, and who can work weekends/holidays. You should be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds, while maintaining safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to stay standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assures good customer relations; greets customers and assists them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operates cash register, promotes sales and ensures cash/control accuracy.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains checkout area, displays, floors, and restrooms.
• Cleans external areas and pumps islands; monitors fuel tanks.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Performs duties in a safe manner and follows safety policies.
• Follows uniform and grooming standards; performs other duties as assigned.
