Job summary

gfsapplegreen is hiring for an Associate/Cashier to support daily store operations in a busy retail station. You will greet customers, operate the register, promote sales and keep the store clean and stocked to ensure smooth customer experiences.

The role requires open weekend availability and a willingness to work varied shifts. Candidates should be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally while maintaining safety and cash control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operates cash register, promotes sales and maintains cash control within guidelines.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains checkout area, coolers, equipment, shelves and displays.
• Maintains exterior areas like sidewalks, drives, pump islands and displays; checks fuel tanks as needed.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve store or company goals.
• Performs duties safely and follows company safety policies.
