Job summary

gfsapplegreen is seeking an Associate / Cashier for Express Lane / Pitt Stop Convenience Stores SC. The role focuses on friendly customer service, accurate cash handling and promoting sales while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the cash register, stocking, and safety compliance. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required for this hourly non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operates cash register, promotes sales and maintains cash control.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains interior property and displays.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains exterior property and fuel tanks.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Performs duties in a safe manner and follows safety policies.
