Job summary

Cboe Global Markets is seeking an intern for the Real-Time team to design, develop, and support the Exchange trading system. You will work with engineers to deliver production-quality code for a high-throughput, low-latency environment in an Agile setting.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in a CS degree, has strong data structures/algorithms knowledge, and is proficient in C++ or eager to learn it. This internship offers hands-on experience and exposure to trading infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with C++, or experience in another language with a strong desire to learn C++.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX-like operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside our software development team to contribute to projects integral to our business.
• Collaborate with experienced developers and fellow interns to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Gain practical experience writing production-quality code on a high-throughput, low-latency trading system in an Agile environment.
