Job summary

Cboe Global Markets is recruiting an Operations Trade Desk Intern in Overland Park, KS. The role offers exposure to US equities and options market structure, and to Cboe technology and systems supporting electronic capital markets.

You will assist customer support and develop troubleshooting skills while contributing to project work. Eligible candidates are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (not graduating before December) and should demonstrate strong problem-solving,

The Operations team is hiring a Trade Desk intern

Your responsibilities and learning objectives will be:

• Learning US equities and options market structure
• Familiarizing yourself with Cboe technology and systems supporting electronic capital markets
• Assisting with customer support
• Developing troubleshooting and technical investigation skills
• Contributing to our team through the completion of assigned project work

The ideal candidate has:

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the internship year.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn new systems/processes quickly and identify areas for potential improvement.
• Ability to work on multiple assignments, work well on a team or on your own, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You’ll really stand out with: FINRA SIE Exam Completion; Trading experience; Experience working with SQL databases.

Compensation

Our pay range for interns is determined by function and education level. The national new hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $22.00 - $42.00 per hour. This range represents the minimum and maximum base pay target for new hires working in the position full time. Within the range, individual pay is determined by years of education completed. In addition to base pay, eligibility for our total rewards program may include benefits such as 401 (k) with a generous company match and paid sick time. Your recruiter will provide more details about the total compensation package during the hiring process.
