Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC is seeking a strong C++ developer to join our core team, supporting ingest processing and mission-critical software components in a defense contracting environment. The engineer will work on high-complexity systems requiring reliability, performance, and precision.

The role emphasizes modern software engineering, collaboration with stakeholders, and thorough documentation. An active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 14+ years of software engineering experience (18+ years without a degree)
• Strong experience developing mission-critical software in C++
• Experience building or supporting ingest processing pipelines
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex mission systems

Responsibilities

• C++ component development for ingest processing and mission workflows
• Build and optimize ingest pipelines for mission data
• Support large-scale, mission-critical systems requiring precision
• Apply modern software engineering practices incl. modular design and performance optimization
• Collaborate with core team and mission stakeholders to refine requirements
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards
• Produce clear technical documentation and sustain mission software components
