Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to support mission-focused C2 systems for embedded devices. You will analyze requirements, design scalable backends, and integrate with embedded SDKs. Expect multi-language debugging and containerized deployments in a secure, fast-paced environment.

You will build CI/CD pipelines, enhance automated tests, and collaborate across teams to improve standards and documentation. A TS/SCI with poly is required; 7+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Java and C++.
• Experience building backend systems and data-driven apps.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiar with containerization and modern orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to derive software design and performance specs.
• Develop and maintain scalable, high-availability systems.
• Interface with embedded systems and SDKs to add functionality.
• Debug across languages (Java, C++, Python, JS) and fix defects.
• Build and maintain Docker/Kubernetes-based apps and CI pipelines.
• Contribute to automated testing frameworks and test procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and improve docs.
