Job summary

BizFirst LLC is seeking a Software Engineer L2 to support an onsite Intelligence Community mission at Fort Meade, MD. You will develop C++ ingest processing and VoIP-focused software components in a high-security environment, requiring TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.

The role emphasizes building and integrating circuit/packet processing, streaming data handling, and network troubleshooting to ensure proper data formatting and transmission on the backend.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science plus 14 years of software engineering experience, or 18 years of experience without a degree.
• Experience with C++ ingest processing and component development.
• Experience developing circuit and packet processing systems and streaming data processing functionality.
• Experience modifying processing parameters and system configurations and monitoring network issues.
• Linux/Unix command-line skills and shell/Bash scripting.
• Working knowledge of data and voice communications technologies, network protocols, circuit and packet processing systems, and VoIP processing.
• Ability to work onsite at Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

• Develop C++ code for ingest processing and software components.
• Develop circuit and packet processing systems.
• Modify processing parameters and update system configurations to resolve problems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network issues to ensure data is properly formatted, transmitted, and processed at the backend.
