Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance at NAVAIR-PAX River, St. Mary’s County, MD. The role requires on-site presence five days a week and US citizenship with an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include writing, reviewing, and testing C++ code on Linux (RHEL), with Visual Studio and Oracle usage in a multi-disciplinary team. A BS in engineering or CS is required; Ada and avionics knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Write, review and test C++ code on Linux environments (RHEL).
• Experience with Oracle databases and Visual Studio.
• Familiarity with avionics concepts and military systems is a plus.
• Strong collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, designs, tests, or equipment for contract conformance.
