Job summary

SimVentions, an employee-owned company, is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance efforts at NAVAIR-PAX River, St. Mary’s County, MD. The role requires on-site presence five days per week and an active Secret clearance.

Candidates should write, review, and test C++ code, work on Linux (RHEL), and interact with Oracle databases and Visual Studio. Familiarity with Jira/Confluence, Ada, DOORS or Cameo is a plus. BS in engineering or CS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, review, and test C++ code.
• Experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL).
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Visual Studio.
• BS in engineering or computer science.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Ada programming language.
• Experience with DOORS and/or Cameo.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, tests, or equipment to ensure conformance with contract requirements.
