Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a C# .NET Developer in Pennington, NJ (onsite). You will collaborate with business and system analysts, translate requirements into low-level design, and develop applications using .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, and modern front-end tools.

You will also develop and consume Web APIs, perform unit testing, and assist with deployment and QA/product certification processes. Familiarity with server apps (WebSphere/Tomcat/Apache) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with .NET Framework 4.0+ and .NET Core, C#, and WCF services.
• Strong OOP knowledge and experience with ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Experience building/consuming Web APIs and front-end frameworks such as AngularJS/React/Handlebars.

Role Overview

This position requires the candidate to work closely with the Business and System Analyst team to understand system requirements and translate them into low-level design. The role involves implementing application code according to standard coding patterns and guidelines. The candidate will also be responsible for unit testing, packaging code for deployment, and supporting quality assurance and product certification teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and system analysts to define system requirements.
• Translate requirements into low-level design and implement application code.
• Develop applications using Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C#.
• Create and maintain web applications using ASP.NET, .NET MVC, and client-side technologies.
• Develop and consume WCF services and Web APIs.
• Unit test code to ensure quality and package it for deployment to production environments.
• Work with quality assurance and product certification teams to provide support and implement fixes.
• Deploy J2EE applications using servers like Websphere, Tomcat, or Apache.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or higher, .NET Core, C#, and WCF services.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming principles.
• Expertise in web technologies including ASP.NET, .NET MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with WebApi.
• Working knowledge of HandleBar, AngularJS, or React.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Core Java, and developing J2EE applications (JSP, Servlets).
• Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, NetBeans, or IntelliJ.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and Visual Studio Code.

Experience

• Experience deploying J2EE applications on application servers like Websphere, Tomcat, or Apache.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Oracle and T-SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to accept additional responsibilities.
