Job summary

Corporate Coverage Company in Chicago, IL is hiring a full-time onsite Junior Accountant to support our multi-state operations within a privately owned family group.

You will record journal entries, assist with monthly close, prepare weekly reports, manage inventory tracking and cost trends, and collaborate with senior accountants to gain hands-on accounting experience across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly performance reports for multiple business entities
• Work closely with senior accountants and finance leadership

• Complete monthly financial reporting and bank reconciliations

We are the shared services and accounting division of a family-owned group of recycling and industrial service companies operating across six states. Privately owned since 1976, our organization supports rapidly growing markets throughout the Midwest and South. Our companies provide industrial waste and recycling equipment solutions, including onsite service, compactor and baler installation, and preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial customers. Compensation And Benefits

Salary Range is $55,000 - $65,000 annually
