Job summary

Corporate Coverage Company is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our onsite team in Chicago, IL. This full-time role offers hands-on experience supporting multi-state operations within a private family-owned group and its growing Midwest footprint.

You will prepare weekly reports, record journal entries, assist with monthly closes, and help manage inventory cost trends while collaborating with finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; accounting software experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly performance reports for multiple business entities
• Work closely with senior accountants and finance leadership
• Record journal entries and assist with monthly close processes
• Complete monthly financial reporting and bank reconciliations
• Work on inventory tracking and cost trending analysis
• Support special accounting projects and initiatives as assigned
