Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp is seeking a senior strategic account manager to lead engagement with large Commercial & Industrial customers in Ohio. You will drive load growth, deliver tailored energy solutions, and coordinate projects across engineering, regulatory, and billing teams to ensure top-tier customer satisfaction.

You will manage complex accounts, foster cross-functional collaboration, and translate technical information into actionable client insights while navigating tariffs and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Engineering technology, or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in engineering, design, technical support, or economic development.
• In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of related experience is required.
• Experience in customer relationship management and engagement within commercial industrial electrical environments.
• Economic and business development.
• Problem-solving and strategic decision-making.
• Customer facing technical or engineering roles.
• Project Management

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for FirstEnergy managed customers and deliver superior customer experience.
• Drive load growth and value through tailored energy solutions and partnerships.
• Act as project manager for construction projects and coordinate regulated products and services.
• Collaborate across internal teams to align customer needs with company capabilities.
• Schedule work with technical teams to meet customer priorities and billing processes.
