Job summary

Everpure is seeking a skilled C++ developer to design, implement, and review features in FlashArray File, building high-performance, reliable file services for SMB and NFS.

You will own work from design to delivery, optimize for concurrency and scalability, and collaborate with a distributed team including Prague. This is an in-office role, expect to work from the Prague office in line with company policies, with opportunities to influence storage software used by critical workloads.

THE ROLE

FlashArray File extends FlashArray with file services, supporting SMB and NFS through core components including the file gateway, object store, and middleware.

We are looking for a C++ developer who is interested in building high-performance, highly reliable systems and solving complex technical problems across file protocols, storage, concurrency, quality, and performance. This team owns core file capabilities end to end, with a strong focus on feature delivery, maintenance, and efficient execution in a highly parallel, customer-critical environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design, implement, and review new features in FlashArray File, primarily in C++, across core file-services areas such as protocols, reliability, and customer-facing capabilities.
• Build system software that serves SMB and NFS workloads and helps evolve the file gateway and adjacent services behind FlashArray File.
• Improve quality, scalability, performance, and resiliency for a platform that handles highly concurrent access patterns and business-critical storage workloads.
• Take ownership of work from design through delivery, debugging, and long-term maintenance, helping move projects forward from start to finish.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional partners in Prague and beyond to deliver high-quality outcomes and continuously improve how the team works.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE

• Strong C++ software engineering skills and experience building backend, systems, or infrastructure software.
• Curiosity about how complex systems work and motivation to solve deep technical problems in storage and file-serving systems.
• Solid problem-solving skills and an ability to design reliable, high-quality software in performance-sensitive environments.
• An ownership mindset and comfort working across the full software lifecycle, from initial design to shipped product and ongoing improvements.
• A collaborative working style, strong communication, and willingness to partner closely with a smart, distributed engineering team.
• Experience in areas such as distributed systems, operating systems, Linux internals, databases, networking, or file/storage systems is a strong plus.
