Job summary

Everpure is seeking an Engineering Manager for FlashArray File Features in Prague to lead a team delivering enterprise-grade, high-availability file capabilities. You will combine systems engineering with leadership, partnering with Product Management and global R&D teams to redefine the modern data experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive End-to-End Execution: lead the full software development lifecycle for core file features and ensure high-quality, scalable code from design to production rollout.
• Shape Technical Strategy: partner with senior architects and Product Management to define the roadmap for multi-server and directory services, balancing feature delivery with long-term system stability.
• Cultivate Engineering Excellence: champion rigorous testing strategies and CI/CD health, fostering ownership of operational excellence and defect prevention.
• Empower and Develop Talent: manage and mentor a team of 5–8 engineers, guiding career growth and development.
• Operational Leadership: align team objectives with global goals, manage dependencies across Protocol and Security teams, ensuring smooth releases that meet security/auditing standards.
• Drive multi-platform senior team owning directory services as a critical component of the system.

THE ROLE

As the Engineering Manager for FlashArray File Features, you will lead a Prague-based team dedicated to evolving Everpure’s™ industry-leading file services. You’ll drive the mission of delivering enterprise‑grade, high‑availability file capabilities that empower global innovators to manage mission‑critical data. This role differentiates itself by blending deep systems‑level engineering with high‑impact people leadership, requiring close collaboration with Product Management and global R&D teams to redefine the modern data experience. Your goal is to ensure our customers can seamlessly scale their file environments with the reliability and performance Everpure™ is known for.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Drive End-to-End Execution: Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for core file features, ensuring the team delivers high-quality, scalable code from initial design through production rollout.
• Shape Technical Strategy: Partner with senior architects and Product Management to define the roadmap for multi-server and directory services, making critical trade-offs that balance innovative feature delivery with long-term system stability.
• Cultivate Engineering Excellence: Champion rigorous testing strategies and CI/CD health, fostering a "follow-your-feature" culture where engineers take ownership of operational excellence and defect prevention.
• Empower and Develop Talent: Manage and mentor a team of 5–8 engineers, providing technical guidance on complex distributed systems challenges while actively coaching them through career growth and professional development.
• Operational Leadership: Align team objectives with global business goals by managing dependencies across Protocol and Security teams, ensuring smooth, predictable releases that meet our customers' highest security and auditing standards.
• Drive multi-platform senior team owning directory services - a critical component of the system.

WHAT YOU BRING

• People Leadership Expertise: Demonstrated experience guiding, developing, and managing high-performing software engineering teams while building a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable engineering culture.
• Technical Acumen: Demonstrated software engineering background building high-throughput distributed systems and customer-facing software, with the technical credibility to guide system architecture reviews, resolve technical trade-offs, and facilitate sound engineering decisions.
• Stakeholder & Global Collaboration: Proven success driving cross-functional collaboration models across geographically distributed engineering, product, architecture, and security teams, with the ability to align dependencies and translate technical complexity into clear business outcomes.
• Product & Feature Delivery: Track record of shipping complex, customer-facing products through the full development lifecycle using pragmatic Agile practices to improve team focus, transparency, and delivery predictability.
• Innovation Mindset: Passion for emerging technologies and engineering practices, with a commitment to creating an environment where engineers are empowered to challenge assumptions, experiment thoughtfully, and drive continuous improvement.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
