Job summary

CAE USA Inc. in Charleston, SC is seeking a data analytics specialist to support C-17 MTS databases and related software.

You will gather, clean, and interpret data, prepare reports, and help translate operational needs into actionable insights for training and mission readiness. The role requires collaboration with MTS Engineering, Test Engineers, and maintenance SMEs, and may involve overtime and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; OR a minimum of eight years related experience.
• Demonstrates understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Designs, modifies, develops, and implements C-17 MTS Database systems.
• Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems.
• Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
• Maintains knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a field.
• Works with MTS TSSC Engineering to ensure smooth transitions of software implementation and design.
