Boeing Global Services (BGS) on-site data engineer role supporting the C-17 fleet via the ADR Analytics Service Contract in Long Beach, CA. You will transform avionics and post-flight data into actionable insights to support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and dispositions for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in aircraft avionics/electronics or computer network/information systems, or aircraft flight simulator training device maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Process and assess the integrity of ADR raw data.
• Analyze system malfunctions by decoding Mil-Std-1553B and ARINC-429 bus data.
• Review post-flight data to support troubleshooting and aircraft health management.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances.
• Develop algorithms to enable more efficient data mining and help identify and prevent system failures.
• Provide written dispositions and recommendations to C-17 customers, including Product Notifications and Technical Requests.
• Support Customer Program Management Review meetings.
• Work with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participate in design reviews.
