Job summary

SEACORP is seeking a Combat Systems Test and Integration Engineer to verify BYG-1 system design and lead integration and test activities on site in Middletown, RI or Manassas, VA. The role requires hands-on submarine combat control system experience and the ability to work in an agile team.

Ideal candidates will have Naval Advanced C School training, an engineering/CS/math degree is a plus, and familiarity with test planning, documentation, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Completion of Naval Advanced C School in a technical field.
• Engineering/CS/Math degree is a plus.
• Experience onboard US Navy submarines or extensive hands-on experience with the submarine combat control system.
• Experience with Confluence and Jira is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Working hands-on with the BYG-1 combat system in lab environments to verify system requirements through integration and test activities.
• Developing test plans and test procedures to verify system requirements.
• Writing clear and concise problem reports detailing system anomaly observations.
• Identifying, investigating, and analyzing system failures to determine root-causes.
• Providing lab support to troubleshoot configuration and system issues, identifying temporary workarounds and long-term solutions.
• Working in an agile development environment with members of development and program management teams.
