Job summary

SEACORP is seeking a Systems Engineer II for the Payload Control System of the BYG-1 program. The PCS ILS Professional will develop technical documentation, create schedules, and review documentation for accuracy and fleet relevance, under Combat Systems.

Qualifications include 3+ years with U.S. Navy submarine systems and a degree in engineering/IT; experience with IETMs and Navy maintenance procedures is preferred. Location: Middletown, RI; Secret clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience with U.S. Navy submarine systems, preferably in combat systems.
• Proficient in IETMs, technical manuals, or maintenance documentation in a DoD/Navy context.

Responsibilities

• Participate in feature design reviews and implementation demonstrations.
• Provide feedback on operational impacts of new features to software developers, systems engineers and testers.
• Develop, review, and provide feedback on IETM content, structure, and accuracy.
• Ensure IETMs align with PCS system architecture and operational behavior.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, and government stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
