Job summary

Novastone Capital Advisors is seeking an experienced professional to partner in searching, acquiring, and leading a small to mid-sized US business as CEO under the OLBO program. The role involves a ~24-month search, with support from NCA and an attractive base compensation plus vested shares in the acquired company.

Successful candidates will manage the acquisition process, step into the CEO role, and drive strategic growth while ensuring efficient operation and profitability.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles with full P&L responsibility.
• Executive MBA or MBA degree preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years proven track record running and growing businesses in the US.
• Strong motivation towards entrepreneurship.
• Deep expertise/vision in Business Services, Software/Tech-Enabled, or Distribution & Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Establish a search process to generate deal flow and identify a target in the US.
• Manage acquisition process with Investment Management support.
• Step into the CEO role of the acquired business.
• Develop long-term strategy and 100-day plan.
• Grow top line via marketing and sales initiatives.
• Review offerings and positioning; implement improvements.
• Oversee geographic expansion and market entry strategies.
• Ensure profitability and efficiency.
