Job summary

Novastone Capital Advisors seeks a mid-career professional to partner with NCA to search, acquire and lead a SME as Chief Executive Officer under the OLBO program.

You will spearhead a 24-month professional search to acquire one small to mid-sized company, with comprehensive support from NCA and an attractive base compensation plus vested shares in the acquired company to secure your entrepreneurial journey.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles with full P&L.
• MBA or Executive MBA preferred.
• Min. 10+ years running and growing US-based businesses or business units.
• Strong motivation towards entrepreneurship.
• Expertise in Business Services or Software/Tech-Enabled or Distribution & Logistics.
• M&A experience and/or consulting background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish a search process with us to generate deal flow and find an acquisition target.
• Manage the acquisition process with support from our Investment Management team.
• Step into the CEO role for the newly acquired business.
• Develop long-term strategy and 100-day plans.
• Drive top-line growth through marketing and sales initiatives.
• Review offerings and portfolio, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
• Lead geographic expansion and market-entry strategies when needed.
• Ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
