Claire’s is seeking a curious, commercially minded student to join our Buying team as a Summer 2027 Intern. This internship offers hands-on exposure to fast-paced retail merchandising and helps you learn how products move from idea to customer.

You’ll work with merchandising teams to identify trends, develop assortments, evaluate product performance, and bring exciting products to customers worldwide. This paid internship provides opportunities to collaborate across departments and gain

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in merchandising, retail, business, marketing, or a related field.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist the Buying team with product and assortment activities.
Review sales and product performance to identify trends and opportunities.
Conduct competitive, market, and trend research.
Support preparation for assortment reviews and merchandising meetings.
Learn how buyers make decisions related to product, pricing, assortment, and inventory.
Collaborate with Planning, Design, Marketing and cross-functional teams.
Support special projects aligned with business priorities.
Gain exposure to end-to-end retail merchandising processes.
