Job summary

Claire’s is seeking a Planning Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Planning team. The internship provides hands-on exposure to sales trends, inventory, and customer demand in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll assist with forecasting, reporting, and analysis, collaborating with Buying and cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s in Business/Analytics and graduating after December 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Analytics, Merchandising, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in retail planning, inventory, and business performance.
• Comfortable working with numbers and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
• Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Graduation date December 2027 or later preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sales, inventory, and product performance analysis.
• Support forecasting and planning activities.
• Review business trends and help identify opportunities or risks.
• Assist with reporting and analysis used to support business decisions.
• Learn how inventory and sales plans are developed and managed.
• Partner with Buying and other cross-functional teams.
• Develop proficiency with retail metrics, reporting, and analytical tools.
• Support special projects and evolving business priorities.
