Mercor is recruiting Senior Domain Experts as independent contractors working on research projects with leading AI labs. These projects involve using your professional experience to design questions related to your domain. We are extending offers across various fields but are particularly interested in candidates who:

1. Have 4+ years of full-time work experience in their field;
2. Can demonstrate being an above-average performer (such as through promotions or awards);
3. Have hired or trained others in their professional domain.

Additional details about the role:

1. We are primarily seeking applicants from the U.S., U.K., and Canada, but will consider top talent from other countries;
2. The hourly compensation varies based on profession and location, with competitive rates tailored to your background;
3. You will interact directly with prominent AI researchers from top AI companies;
4. The work is fully asynchronous and flexible around your schedule;
5. A minimum commitment of 10 hours per week is expected;
6. The project duration is approximately 3-4 weeks.

Regarding pay and legal status:

1. We can meet industry-standard compensation expectations;
2. Payments are made weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged hours;
3. You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor;
4. Currently, we cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
