Job summary

Q-Edge Corporation, a Foxconn Technology Group company, is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Houston, TX. You will handle raw material purchasing, inventory planning, and supplier management to ensure uninterrupted production.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years procurement experience, strong Excel skills, and a collaborative mindset to coordinate with internal teams and suppliers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials and ensure suppliers meet delivery commitments.
• Manage material forecasts, backlog reports, and maintain accurate supply plans in SAP for MRP.
• Coordinate PSI reports with Material Control to monitor material coverage.
• Maintain raw material lead times based on customer procurement strategies.
• Meet regularly with Material Program Management teams to provide updates on material supply plans.
• Coordinate bonded material imports and exports within FTZ and manage the RMA process.
• Resolve material shortages and support cross‑factory material transfers.
• Track shipment schedules, including ETD and ETA.
• Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
