Job summary

Q-Edge Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. You will purchase raw materials, manage inventory planning, and coordinate import/export activities to keep production flowing, while collaborating with cross-functional groups to meet schedule commitments.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in procurement or supply chain, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials and ensure supplier delivery commitments.
• Maintain SAP-based supply plans and MRP data.
• Coordinate PSI reports with Material Control to monitor coverage.
• Track raw material lead times and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with MPM teams on material supply plans.
• Manage bonded imports/exports within FTZ and RMA process.
• Resolve shortages and support cross-factory transfers.
• Track shipments ETD/ETA and coordinate with teams.
• Work closely with internal teams and customers for smooth operations.
