Job summary

Q-Edge Corporation seeks a detail-oriented Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Houston, TX. You will be responsible for raw material purchasing, inventory planning, import/export coordination, and supplier management to ensure uninterrupted production.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of procurement experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and SAP or other ERP/MRP systems. Office-based role requiring occasional overtime. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials and ensure suppliers meet delivery commitments.
• Manage material forecasts, backlog reports, and maintain accurate supply plans in SAP for MRP.
• Coordinate PSI reports with MC to monitor material coverage.
• Maintain raw material lead times based on procurement strategies.
• Meet regularly with MPM teams to provide updates on material supply plans.
• Coordinate bonded material imports and exports within FTZ and manage the RMA process.
• Resolve material shortages and support cross-factory material transfers.
• Track shipment schedules (ETD/ETA).
• Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Q-Edge Corporation, a Foxconn Technology Group company, is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for raw material purchasing, inventory planning, import/export coordination, and supplier management to ensure uninterrupted production. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials and ensure suppliers meet delivery commitments
• Manage material forecasts, backlog reports, and maintain accurate supply plans in SAP for MRP
• Coordinate Supply, Demand, and Inventory (PSI) reports with Material Control (MC) to monitor material coverage
• Maintain raw material lead times based on customer procurement strategies
• Meet regularly with Material Program Management (MPM) teams to provide updates on material supply plans
• Coordinate bonded material imports and exports within Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) and manage the RMA process
• Resolve material shortages and support cross-factory material transfers
• Track shipment schedules, including ETD (Estimated Time of Departure) and ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival)
• Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth supply chain operations
