Foxconn Industrial Internet in Houston is looking for a Materials Purchasing Specialist responsible for ensuring continuity and quality of supplies. The role involves managing vendor performance, preparing purchase orders, verifying timely receipt of items, and providing recovery plans for inventory issues. A Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain and 0-2 years of purchasing experience are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of SAP/Oracle are preferred. The position is not remote and requires in-office presence during workdays.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of purchasing or commodity management experience required.
• Contract manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage and evaluate vendor performance.
• Set up new vendors by coordinating with Legal and Finance departments.
• Prepare and place purchase orders.
• Verify timely receipt of items and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide recovery plan for inventory issues.
• Coordinate RMA and rework with internal departments and suppliers.
• Assist with ECN implementation.
• Supply chain support for NPI team.
• Other duties as assigned.
