MITER Brands in Hegins, PA is seeking a Buyer Planner to optimize site purchasing and inventory management while maintaining high service levels. The role requires experience in high-volume manufacturing and strong data interpretation for material usage.

You will coordinate with suppliers, process orders, and participate in S&OP to ensure balanced supply and demand. Knowledge of ASCM concepts and Lean manufacturing is a plus, with a comprehensive benefits package provided.

Qualifications

• BS in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years planning or buying in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
• Familiar with ASCM concepts; Lean Manufacturing knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute site purchasing and inventory management activities.
• Interpret data to optimize material inventory while maximizing service levels.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal customers to procure goods and services.
• Review and implement inventory management strategies across the site.
• Monitor inventory requirements through S&OP participation.
• Process purchase orders and contact suppliers to place orders.
• Expedite deliveries to meet schedules and negotiate cost-effective solutions.
