Job summary

Fresh Consulting is seeking a Buyer II/Buyer III to lead end-to-end indirect procurement onsite at West Melbourne, FL. You will manage RFQs, RFPs, catalog buying, negotiations, supplier relationships and compliance.

Responsibilities include collaborating with IT and engineering on specifications, security and aerospace traceability; experience with COTS IT hardware and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa) is preferred. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years in procurement are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• 3–4 years procurement experience for Buyer II; 5+ years for Buyer III.
• Hands-on experience with COTS and IT hardware procurement.

Position Overview:

• Role: Buyer II/Buyer III
• Location: Onsite West Melbourne, FL 32904
• Contract Duration: 3 month contract possibility to extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end indirect procurement across the full lifecycle, including RFQs, RFPs, catalog buying, negotiation, supplier relationships, compliance, and auditing.
• Focus on COTS, ET/IT hardware (computing, networking, peripherals, test equipment), and aerospace goods and services.
• Collaborate closely with IT and engineering teams on specifications, security, and aerospace traceability.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience Requirements:

• Buyer II: 3–4 years of procurement experience.
• Buyer III: 5+ years of procurement experience (indirect procurement preferred).
• Hands-on experience with COTS and IT hardware procurement.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense quality standards or category management is a plus.

Requirement:

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Range is $35-$55 per hour.
