Job summary

Fresh Consulting is seeking a Buyer II/Buyer III to manage end-to-end indirect procurement at our West Melbourne, FL site on a 3-month contract with potential extension. You will lead RFQs, RFPs, catalog buying, and supplier relationships, collaborating with IT and engineering on specs, security, and traceability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Business or related field, 3–5+ years of experience, and proficiency with SAP, Oracle, or Coupa. Onsite work with 100% employer-covered benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end indirect procurement across the full lifecycle, including RFQs, RFPs, catalog buying, negotiation, supplier relationships, compliance, and auditing.
• Focus on COTS, ET/IT hardware (computing, networking, peripherals, test equipment), and aerospace goods and services.
• Collaborate closely with IT and engineering teams on specifications, security, and aerospace traceability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end indirect procurement across the full lifecycle, including RFQs, RFPs, catalog buying, negotiation, supplier relationships, compliance, and auditing.
• Focus on COTS, ET/IT hardware (computing, networking, peripherals, test equipment), and aerospace goods and services.
• Collaborate closely with IT and engineering teams on specifications, security, and aerospace traceability.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience Requirements

• Buyer II: 3-4 years of procurement experience.
• Buyer III: 5+ years of procurement experience (indirect procurement preferred).
• Hands-on experience with COTS and IT hardware procurement.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense quality standards or category management is a plus.

Requirement

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Range is $35-$55 per hour.
